Sequence of Operation:

  1. Index-Feed Entry: Containers are indexed into the rotary star wheel via a mechanical stopper that manages incoming flow.
  2. Synchronized Pick-up: As jars pass the delivery chute, they pick up a pre-oriented lug cap from the vibratory feeder.
  3. Lug Sealing: The capping head engages with the cap, applying a specific torque to “lock” the lugs onto the bottle threads.
  4. Fault Detection: Continuous sensors scan for “No Bottle” or “No Cap” scenarios, triggering an instant motor halt to prevent errors.
  5. Discharge: Sealed jars are moved smoothly along the SS slat conveyor for downstream sterilization, labeling, and secondary packaging.
