Sequence of Operation:
- Index-Feed Entry: Bottles are transitioned from the conveyor into the rotary star wheel via a mechanical stopper for precise spacing.
- Synchronized Pick-up: As the container passes under the delivery chute, the neck picks up a pre-oriented twist-off cap from the feeder.
- Twist-Off Sealing: The capping head engages, rotating the cap until the lugs lock firmly onto the bottle neck with pre-set torque.
- Security Monitoring: The PLC-controlled sensor suite monitors for “No Bottle” or “No Cap” scenarios, pausing the motor instantly if a fault is detected.
