Automatic Induction Wad Sealing Machine
Superior Product Integrity & Security
The Harsiddh Automatic Induction Wad Sealing Machine (DTIS-60) is a high-speed solution designed to preserve the freshness and shelf-life of products in the pharmaceutical, food, beverage, and chemical industries. By creating a hermetic seal using induction wads, it provides a reliable barrier against moisture, oxygen, and contaminants while acting as a clear indicator of tampering for the end consumer.
Reliable Operational Workflow
The machine provides a seamless, non-contact sealing cycle:
- Conveying: Capped bottles (with pre-inserted induction wads) move along the conveyor into the induction zone.
- Activation: As the bottle passes under the induction head, a high-frequency magnetic field induces eddy currents in the aluminum foil.
- Wad Sealing: The heat generated melts the polymer coating on the foil, welding it to the bottle lip. In two-piece wads, the heat also melts the wax layer, releasing the foil from the pulpboard backing.
- Cooling: The container exits the field, and the seal cools rapidly to form a permanent, airtight bond.
- Discharge: The sealed bottles are discharged, with the pulpboard remaining in the cap to provide a secondary seal after the foil is opened by the consumer.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is induction WAD sealing essential for liquid and powder products?
The Harsiddh Automatic Induction WAD Sealer provides three critical layers of protection:
Leak-Proof Integrity: It creates a hermetic seal that prevents leakage during transit, especially for oils and chemicals.
Tamper Evidence: It provides a "first-opening" guarantee to the consumer, which is a regulatory requirement in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
Oxidation Prevention: By creating an airtight barrier, it prevents moisture and oxygen from entering, significantly extending the shelf life of the product.
Can the machine handle different bottle materials like PET, HDPE, and Glass?
Yes. Our induction sealers are highly versatile and compatible with PET, HDPE, LDPE, PP, and PVC containers. While induction sealing is most common for plastic, specialized WADs are also available for Glass bottles. The power intensity of the induction head can be adjusted via the control panel to suit the specific thickness and material of the container.
How does the machine accommodate various bottle heights and conveyor speeds?
The induction sealing head is mounted on a sturdy, height-adjustable pillar with a hand-wheel mechanism. This allows operators to quickly raise or lower the head to maintain the optimal gap (typically 2mm to 3mm) between the head and the bottle cap. Because it is a "Continuous" system, it seals bottles "on the fly," matching the speed of your existing production line.
What safety features are included to ensure quality control?
As a cGMP-compliant model, the Harsiddh Induction WAD Sealer is equipped with several intelligent sensors:
No-Foil Detector: Identifies if a cap is missing its WAD/liner.
Bottle Jam Sensor: Automatically deactivates the induction field if bottles bunch up under the head to prevent overheating or burning.
Pneumatic Rejection System: Can be integrated to automatically push "unsealed" or "foil-less" bottles off the conveyor into a separate bin.
