The machine provides a stable, synchronized flow from vial indexing to final discharge.
Sequence of Operation:
- In-feed: Stoppered vials move along the SS conveyor and are indexed into the sealing zone by the in-feed star wheel.
- Cap Orientation: Aluminum caps are fed through a vibratory bowl into the delivery chute, where they are picked up by the vials.
- Detection: Photo sensors verify the presence of both the vial and the cap; if either is missing, the sealing process is bypassed or the machine halts.
- Sealing: The vial is positioned on the turret platform where the spring-loaded rollers spin around the cap, tucking the skirt under the vial rim for a tamper-evident seal.
- Discharge: The exit star wheel smoothly transfers the sealed vials back to the conveyor for downstream labeling or inspection.
