Automatic Inhaler Labeling Machine
Reliable Operational Workflow
The Harsiddh Automatic Inhaler Labeling Machine (HASL-120R) is engineered for consistent, high-speed performance. Inhalers are fed via a specialized feed-worm that creates uniform gaps before transferring them to the rotary star-wheel.
As each container passes the sensor, the servo motor dispenses a self-adhesive label at the exact wrap-around point. A synchronized pressing belt then applies consistent pressure to ensure the label is perfectly adhered around the circumference. Labeled inhalers are then collected or moved to the next station for final inspection.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the machine ensure the label is perfectly aligned on a cylindrical inhaler?
Precision is achieved through a Wrap-Around Labeling Station. As the inhaler enters the labeling zone, it is held securely by a vertical motorized foam roller or a specialized belt. This rotates the inhaler 360° while the label is dispensed, ensuring the sticker is applied without wrinkles, bubbles, or "spiraling" (skewed alignment). The machine maintains a placement accuracy of ±0.5mm to ±1.0mm.
Can the machine print and verify Batch/Expiry data during the process?
Yes. To meet stringent pharmaceutical track-and-trace regulations, the machine can be integrated with:
Integrated Coding: Thermal Inkjet (TIJ) or Laser Coders to print Batch Numbers, Manufacturing/Expiry Dates, and 2D DataMatrix codes.
Vision Inspection System: An optional high-speed camera can be installed to verify the presence of the label and the legibility of the printed code.
Automatic Rejection: Any inhaler that fails the "label present" or "code correct" check is automatically diverted into a separate "Reject" bin via a pneumatic pusher.
What is the production speed and how are changeovers handled?
The machine is built for high-volume industrial lines:
Output: Depending on the inhaler diameter and label length, the machine can achieve speeds of 60 to 150 inhalers per minute.
Changeovers: It features a "Tool-less" adjustment system. Operators can use calibrated handwheels to adjust the height of the labeling head and the width of the conveyor guides in minutes, making it ideal for facilities running multiple product variants.
What are the key cGMP and safety features for cleanroom use?
As a cGMP-compliant unit designed for the pharmaceutical industry:
Material Integrity: All contact parts are made of SS 316L, and the main frame is SS 304 stainless steel with a polished finish for easy sanitization.
"No Inhaler – No Label" System: Electronic sensors prevent the dispenser from firing if a unit is missing, eliminating adhesive buildup on the rollers.
Safety Enclosure: The high-speed moving parts are housed within a toughened glass or acrylic cabinet with safety interlocks to protect the operator during operation.
